| The
Virtual Training Help Center has a series of tutorials available on various
subjects and software packages. To see the contents of a tutorial, simply
click on its tab. You will then go to the main page for that tutorial, where
you will see index cards with lessons grouped by general topic. In the bottom
left-hand corner you will see a References link, which you can click
to view a list of useful resources.
To start at the beginning of the tutorial, click the first lesson title under the first topic. If you prefer, simply click on a specific lesson title to go directly to a topic of interest. Once you have begun a lesson, links to each lesson in the tutorial are always available at the top of the page in a green navigation bar (see the example below). The lesson you are currently visiting is highlighted. Click on each lesson link in succession to move through the tutorial. |

At
any point if you wish to print a page, pull down the File menu
and select Print. (The lessons have been designed so that they
are no wider than an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.) PDF versions of the lessons
are also available; links to these files are located in the bottom right
corner of each tutorial's main page. |

Clicking on the Tutorials button on the left of any page will take you back to the main page for that tutorial. From there you can click the VTHC Home button to return to the VTHC main page, or click a different tab to view the contents of another tutorial. |

Requirements In order to get the most benefit from the tutorials in the Virtual Training Help Center, it is strongly recommended that you have both the tutorial and the software open on your computer at the same time. In this way, you can easily switch between the tutorial and the software package, giving you the opportunity to follow along and try various techniques yourself. The lessons in these tutorials have been written for the Windows operating system. However, many of the applications covered in these tutorials have Macintosh versions. If you use a Macintosh, you can still use these tutorials, as the Mac versions are very similar to their Windows counterparts. The Virtual Training Help Center is best viewed with Internet Explorer 5.0 (or higher) on a display set to 800 x 600 dpi (or greater). However, it can also be viewed with Internet Explorer or Netscape version 4.0 or higher.
